WEST MICHIGAN - A wanted fugitive who's been on the run from authorities for nearly two years is back in custody following a shooting in Texas this week.

Federal authorities say 34-year-old Adrain Taylor Wayne was taken into custody last night in the Ft. Worth, Texas area after he was wounded in a shooting.

Authorities say Wayne initially gave police officers false information on his true identity, but a deeper investigation revealed outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Michigan.

Earlier this month, Wayne was featured on West Michigan's Most Wanted, initially wanted on attempted murder charges following a shooting in Muskegon in 2013.

Authorities say Wayne has been charged in Texas with giving police false information on his true identity, and is awaiting extradition proceedings on his Michigan charges.

Currently he's been held in the Tarrant County Corrections System.
