MUSKEGON, Mich. — A man is dead following an argument in which police say his wife stabbed him in the chest.
Police initially responded to a report of a stabbing in the 400 block of Isabella Avenue at 4:45 a.m. early Saturday. There they found a 35-year-old man who had allegedly been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to an emergency room, but died later in the day at the hospital.
The man’s wife, a 28-year-old woman from Muskegon, was taken into custody on scene. She is currently lodged in jail on felony charges.
While the investigation is still on-going, preliminary information suggests that the woman stabbed her husband in the midst of a verbal domestic dispute.
