GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Multiple crews responded to a house fire in Grand Rapids early Thursday morning. The call came in at around 3:00 a.m. for a potential fire at 1152 Benjamin Avenue SE.
When firefighters arrived, they described heavy flames coming from the structure and took a defensive approach to fighting the fire.
Officials on the scene tell us nobody was home at the time of the fire.
There is no word yet on a cause.
