GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — One person was injured Monday after a car crashed into the St. Mary’s medical building located at 300 Lafayette Ave. SE, according to the Grand Rapids Fire Department.
Dispatchers say the crash happened at about 2:08 p.m. They said a car struck the building and a nearby pedestrian was injured.
The person’s injuries were non-life threatening, according to a hospital spokesperson. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
According to the Mercy Health website, the Peter M. Wege Center for Health and Learning is located at this address.
