CHICAGO, IL. — A plane traveling from Grand Rapids to Chicago landed safely Saturday after the plane experienced mechanical problems,
reportedly with the front landing gear.
A representative with The Department of Aviation said that United Airlines Flight 3645 experienced “mechanical problems” while on it’s path to
Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
People that were on the flight were told the landing gear in the front of the plane did not deploy properly- forcing the pilot to land the plane without it.
The Department of Aviation didn’t elaborate on the specific mechanical problems the plane experience but noted that the flight landed safely without incident at 3:24 p.m. (Chicago Time).
