GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are looking for those responsible for breaking into a Grand Rapids ministry, stealing cash, and causing thousands of dollars in damage.
It happened at LifeQuest Ministries on Fisk Road SE in Grand Rapids. It’s a ministry that caters to those wanting to turn their lives around.
According to a GoFundMe account, individuals used sledge hammers to destroy doors and windows of the building and took off with a five-gallon container that contained $350. That money was supposed to go towards a new baptismal pool.
The damage was estimated at just over $2000. Police are still investigating, and LifeQuest is asking for donations from the community to help repair the damage.
