BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Poor weather conditions have contributed to several accidents lately, including one that injured a Bloomfield Township Police Officer – and it was all caught on dash cam video.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department said it happened along the north bound lanes of I-75 near Adams Road on February 14.
Authorities said the officer was helping a driver who slid off the road. It was then an 18-year-old driver crashed into the police cruiser and the other vehicle.
The officer was thrown into the ditch after narrowly being crushed by the vehicles.
The officer was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
