GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Trash and recycling pickup will be delayed by one day this week due to heavy snowfall Sunday, according to a Monday release from the City of Grand Rapids.
In addition to the trash collection delay, all Parks and Recreation activities and classes have been cancelled Monday. This includes open skating at Rosa Parks Circle.
City officials are asking that residents remove their cars from street parking if possible to help snow plow drivers clear residential roads. Odd/Even parking rules also remain in effect.
According to a release, the city anticipates all activities to resume as scheduled on Tuesday.
