28-year-old left with life-threatening injuries after being struck by two vehicles

MUSKEGON, Mich. — A man is in critical condition after a hit and run Saturday night. Police were called to the intersection of Apple Avenue & Stevens Street just after 11:00 p.m. after a 28-year-old man from Muskegon was struck by a vehicle.

The vehicle left the scene without notifying police. When the man was hit, he was knocked to the ground, where he was struck by a second vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle stopped after hitting the man and called for help.  The man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking for help in locating the first vehicle, and its driver. The vehicle is possibly a 1990’s model Chevrolet truck or sport utility vehicle.
