WYOMING, Mich. — Wyoming Police have identified Frank Hartuniewicz as the officer who was wounded Thursday in a shooting.
Hartuniewicz, a 15-year veteran, was shot while responding to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Himes. He was treated and released from the hospital after the shooting and continues to recover at home, police said.
The suspect in his shooting, 31-year-old Alan ‘Al’ James, remains in critical condition after the shootout with officers.
