NORTON SHORES, Mich. — The mother who was accused of stealing baby formula from a local store last fall has pleaded guilty.
Last Friday, Susan Surian admitted her guilt to one count of retail fraud. She will be sentenced Feb. 23.
The mother and her daughter would go from store to store, steal as many items as possible, then go back to their residence and sell the products on Craigslist.
The duo stole tens of thousands of dollars from two Meijer stores in Norton Shores.
Lisa Surian, Susan’s daughter, has not entered a plea.
