South Haven market robbed at gun point

SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – On Sunday, Deputies were called to 68150 County Road 388 at the Phoenix Country Mart around 8:30 P.M. on the report of an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the Phoenix Country Mart, made contact with an employee, pulled a hand gun from his pocket and pointed it at the employee, and then ordered the employee to open the cash register. The employee followed the orders and the suspect grabbed an unkown amount of cash out of the drawer and fled in an unknown direction.

A K9 track was attempted but unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a light skin black male in his early twenties, wearing a black jacket with a hood. The suspect was wearing a black mask over his nose and mouth, dark jeans, black shoes, blue winter hat, and black gloves. The suspect is about 5’5” tall, approx. 150 lbs and has a slim build.
