GAINES TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Several businesses fell victim to a thief this week, with the woman stealing hundreds of dollars in merchandise, including a very expensive bottle of Dom Perignon.

Surveillance video shows the woman stealing items right in front of customers, targeting several places in just a few hours.

The owner of Marco's Hair and Nails said that the thief even managed to take about $300 dollars out of her wallet that was near the cash register.

Owner Rochelle Arnold said that the woman walked in at about one o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday. She said that the woman stole a hot dog from the restaurant next door and finished eating it inside her salon before asking to buy a gift card.

The woman is seen on video inside the salon placing several items into her purse.

Arnold said that after the woman left, she went next door and was seen on video tucking a $250 bottle of Dom Perignon into her pants.

We're told the woman returned to the liquor store on Wednesday night, only to be spooked off when the owner called 911.

"Then she saw the video camera that he had and noticed she was on video and turned and smiled and started dancing for the camera," said Arnold.

"She continued to steal items at the desk while I was sitting right in front of her, not even seeing it. She was slick, she was brazen. She knows what she's doing. This is not her first rodeo."

Arnold said that she'd like to think the woman is using the stolen money to help take care of her kids for Christmas, but Arnold is doubtful.

Surveillance video was also able to capture the out-of-state license place on an older model red Pontiac that the woman left in.

If you recognize the woman, or know anything about the alleged thefts, you are asked to call the Kent County Sheriff's Department.
