Ick! Chicago cabbies get racy for second-ever taxi calendar

Posted

CHICAGO — Chicago cab drivers posed in various provocative poses for the second annual Chicago Taxi Calendar, says our sister station WGN-TV.

According to DNAinfo, the calendar’s aim is to raise money for an ongoing federal lawsuit against the city.

The $15 calendar, they hope, will garner funds for the lawsuit, which aims to get cab drivers paid like city employees, and addresses issues such as minimum wage and overtime.

The photographer told DNAinfo that about 200 people bought last year’s version of the calendar, which had the same goal.

“For many years, Chicago taxi drivers have been mistreated and exploited by the City of Chicago government,” explains the website depicting the lawsuit.

“This federal suit aims to force the city to either treat us as genuine independent contractors or grant us the rights of those with employee status,” it adds.
