KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. -- We've all seen a bad driver cutting people off, speeding or being just plain reckless, while most of us wait our turn. But one driver in Kalamazoo County is getting more attention than he may have bargained for.

"This driver should absolutely lose their license," said Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas.

The driver is caught on a nearly 23-minute long YouTube video that shows them repeatedly violating the rules of the road over the span of several months, something Matyas has seen first-hand.

"I was with my wife and we were walking into the Arby's at 9th and N Avenue and you can hear his car coming just zipping in and out of traffic and the weather wasn't particularly good that day and I remarked to my wife, I said, 'We'll find that guy in a ditch somewhere.'"

But he didn't find him in a ditch. Instead, Matyas found the driver on YouTube after receiving several e-mails from concerned residents. Kalamazoo County is now investigating who could be behind the wheel.

"He's broken about every law that you would want to have once you get a driver behind the wheel," Matyas said.  "We'll try and locate the driver, we'll gather our evidence over and above the video itself, and then we'll present it to the prosecutor for his disposition."

FOX 17 tried locating the driver, but there was no answer at the home where the car is registered. But we did find the same black Honda parked in the driveway.

Just one hour after visiting the home, the car's registered owner and driver called FOX 17.

"I'm deeply, deeply sorry about the situation," the owner said. "I apologize greatly for it, and I will make sure that it doesn't happen anymore. I will definitely make sure that it does not happen again."

The owner says the car is registered to him, but he is not the only person to drive the car. Multiple people have had access to the vehicle.
