Weather forcing Jets and Bills to play at Ford Field on Monday

Posted

DETROIT, Mich. — The extreme weather that has hit New York state this week has now forced the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills to play their game at the home of the Detroit Lions this approaching Monday night.

According to a post on the official Detroit Lions website, the Bills will host the Jets at 7:00 p.m. Monday at Ford Field, after the excessive amount of snow coated Ralph Wilson Stadium.  The game was originally going to be played at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, but this was the best option available.

The Bills haven’t been able to practice Wednesday or Thursday because of driving restrictions that are in effect as a result of the snow.

The NFL has yet to release any ticket information.
