CHICAGO, IL. (WGN)- A child was killed and 11 other people, including five children, were injured in a massive fire at an apartment building on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Sunday on the top floor of a three-story building in the 5700 block of North Kimball Avenue.
Several residents jumped from their windows to escape smoke and flames. Fire officials say the youngest person hurt is 15-years-old.
