TAWAS, Mich. — Nearly a full day after she was first reported missing, a two-year-old girl has been found in the woods by a Michigan State Police K-9 unit.
Brooklyn Lilly went missing on Wednesday from her family’s home in Tawas, located in Iocated in Iosco County, Michigan. Search teams started canvassing the area, but it would be 22 hours later when Brooklyn was found.
According to the Arenac County Independent, Brooklyn was located in a wooded area near a creek, and only had minor scrapes and abrasions. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
