NUNICA, Mich.- One man is recovering after being hit by a vehicle Saturday evening.
According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to a report of a hit and run crash at the intersection of Main St. and Cass St. around 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening. The victim, 45-year-old Jeffery Alan Stiles, was at a halloween party near the intersection when he attempted to scare drivers because he was dressed up as a zombie.
Deputies say he was walking in a traffic lane when the vehicle hit him. The suspect continued to drive north on Main St. without stopping.
Stiles was taken into Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, where he is listed in good condition.
Deputies do not have a description of the vehicle.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating this incident.
