HOLLAND, Mich. — The ‘Run 4 Your Life’ 5k fun run/walk offers fun for the whole family in downtown Holland on Thursday.
The run begins and ends at The Curragh Irish Pub in downtown Holland. Participants will travel through downtown and then travel east toward Windmill Island and then return to The Curragh via Riverview Park.
A Lil’Pun’kins mini run also will be held for children up to 8 years of age. Parents are welcome to accompany their Lil’Pun’kin or push them in strollers. Each runner will receive a medal once they have crossed the finish line.
In celebration of the holiday weekend, participants are encouraged to wear creative costumes. Winners of the event are the first male and female to cross the finish line, plus the person with the most creative costume.
The Lil’Pun’kins mini run will take place at 5:30. The 5K fun run/walk will begin at 6 p.m. An awards ceremony will take place immediately following the 5K at The Curragh. Funds will go towards the Holland Free Health Clinic. Click here for more information.
