KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A car crashed into a building causing a fire, and police say the vehicle was stolen.
The 2001 Pontiac Bonneville was reported stolen at 3:57 a.m. on October 3 from the Milham Meadows Apartments on Milham Avenue.
While an officer was taking the report, he was monitoring the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety’s radio traffic for a report of a vehicle crashing into a building causing a fire. That crash was reported at 3:29 a.m.
Kalamazoo officers called out the registration plate number of the vehicle and it matched the stolen Pontiac.
There is no word on any injuries, suspects, or arrests.
