BATTLE CREEK, MI.,– Two people were arrested after an officer noticed a vehicle being broken into while on patrol overnight, that’s according to the Battle Creek Police Dept.
An officer said he interrupted the crime and spotted four people running away in the Math and Science parking lot on West Michigan Ave.
Police said a female, 29, was caught breaking into the vehicle. They said she was carrying stolen property. Investigators said she was arrested on larceny charges and taken to the Calhoun County Jail.
A second person was found later and arrested for trespassing.
The other two people remain on the run.
