GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — While many leagues across West Michigan have already begun playing conference games, some are just starting them tonight.

The latter is the case in our game of the week, where Plainwell (3-1) heads to Vicksburg (4-0) for a big game in the Wolverine conference as East division play begins. The Bulldogs are coming off a pair of close wins against Paw Paw last week (25-20) and Edwardsburg (16-14) two weeks ago. The Trojans suffered their only loss of the season at Edwardsburg last week (24-22). This one should go a long way toward deciding the East division champion.

Also beginning conference play is West Catholic (4-0) as it rejoins the OK Blue and host old rival Allendale, Bret Bakita will be live at Falcon Stadium tonight.

You can never go wrong with the West Michigan conference as a feature game, and this week Oakridge (3-1) at Ravenna (4-0) will be our Blitz Battle. The Bulldogs might be back as a contender, but a win over the Eagles would remove all doubt. We will have highlights, reaction and analysis tonight on the Blitz.
