WYOMING, Mich. — A Wyoming Public Schools teacher has been suspended after tweeting about a pregnant student, according to Superintendent Dr. Thomas Reeder.

Reeder said the teacher’s tweet read, “I’m sure the girl who is taking my economics class for the second time will make an excellent mom come December. #sarcasm”

The teacher, whose name has not been released, has been suspended for 13 days without pay.   Reeder said her Twitter account has since been deactivated.
