GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police in Grand Rapids say two suspects on BMX-style bicycles robbed a college student at gunpoint early Thursday morning and got away with a wallet and a backpack filled with school books.
The robbery happened at around 2:45 a.m. near the Tim Horton’s on West Fulton Street. Police say the two male suspects rode up to the victim, flashed a handgun, and got away with the stolen items.
There were no injuries involved. Police are still looking to make arrests.
