Teen shot in buttocks on Grand Rapids’ southeast side

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A teenager suffered a gunshot wound to the buttocks Wednesday night.

At 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, the Grand Rapids Police Department was called to the BP station at 801 Franklin St. SE where a 19-year-old male had just shown up with a gunshot in the buttocks. The teen said he had been shot while walking nearby in the 700 block of Prince.

The teenager said he was unsure who shot him and had no description or no direction of flight.

Police have not yet located a shooting scene and continue to investigate the incident.
