Grand Rapids, Mich -- Fix, a 15-month-old German Shepherd, had his first official day on the job as Spectrum Health's newest security team member.
Born in the Netherlands, Fix was trained in the Czech Republic, according to his new handler, Spectrum security police officer Derek Karcher.
Karcher has been with the hospital system's security team for three years.
