NEWAYGO, Mich -- Newaygo has won 17 games the last two seasons and qualified for the playoffs both years including a regional final appearance in 2012.
Andy Busch begins his 3rd year as head coach and feels that the seniors that graduated taught the current players what it takes have success.
The Central State Activities Association has expanded and divided into two divisions. Newaygo is in the Gold joined by Big Rapids, Reed City, Central Montcalm, Chippewa Hills and newcomers Tri-County and Grant.
Newaygo and Grant are big rivals who did not play last season.
