DETROIT, Mich. -- Four West Michigan Miracle League players got the chance to play ball with the big leaguers this weekend.
Jed, Aaron, Drew, and Christian were just a few of several children enjoying the Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids' stop in Detroit on Saturday.
Miguel Cabrera, Joba Chamberlain, and Eugenio Suarez of the Detroit Tigers were on hand to help the kids enjoy a day on the field.
Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids and the WMML both give children with special needs the opportunity to participate in the game of baseball - a chance they may not otherwise have.
Registration for the fall season of the WMML is open until August 24. The five-game season starts on September 6 at Nate Hurwitz Field, located at the Art Van Baseball/Softball Complex off 10 Mile Road in Rockford.
