SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW, FOX 8)- Cedar Point said it reopened Skyhawk Friday afternoon, nearly one week after two people were hurt when a cable on the ride snapped.
The amusement park said its maintenance and safety experts made all the necessary changes and completed a full review of the ride.
Cedar Point said, “Park officials worked closely with the ride’s manufacturer (S & S Worldwide) and licensed inspectors from the Amusement Ride Safety Division of the Ohio Department of Agriculture who assisted in thoroughly inspecting and testing the ride prior to its re-opening.”
