GAZA (CNN) — Doctors are working to save an infant in Gaza after she was born from her dead mother.
According to BBC, the mother was killed during recent bombings and an emergency C-section was performed to save the baby. She was born two weeks premature.
More than 800 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched its military offensive earlier in July.
