Memorial Walk remembers fallen officers

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– Remembering fallen police officers and honoring those who serve or have served was the purpose for a memorial walk in Grand Rapids Wednesday morning.
It began at 8:30 a.m. at Gerald R Ford Middle School, located at 851 Madison Avenue SE. The less than a mile walk headed down Delaware and ended at New Hope Baptist Church.
The walk was hosted by NOBLE, the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement.
They are in Grand Rapids for a national convention which specializes in coming up with solutions regarding law enforcement issues and concerns, and improving community interaction.
