VICKSBURG, Mich- A boil water advisory was put into effect in the Village of Vicksburg on the evening on July 13th, following a water main break in the main part of the community.
Officials haven’t said how that break happened, but do tell FOX 17 that traffic in the area has been rerouted due to flooding and so crews can begin repairs.
In the meantime, they’re asking that people avoid using their water if possible. If they do use it, they should boil it for 20 minutes first.
Officials have not said how long that advisory is going to remain in effect.
