GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (July 8, 2014) — Steve Hewitt, the Grand Haven High School varsity boys basketball coach, died Tuesday, according to the Grand Haven Tribune.
The Tribune spoke with Principal Tracy Wilson, who says Hewitt collapsed while he was out jogging.
Hewitt also worked as a counselor at the school.
The Grand Haven Area Public Schools Crisis Team will be available for any students and faculty beginning Wednesday morning at the high school.
