COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (June 26, 2014) — Krupp Farmsknows strawberries.
For nearly 100 years, it’s been a family-run operation, and now a fourth generation is involved in the operation, located at 8025 Krupp Ave. in Comstock Park. While strawberries have traditionally been the #1 crop, the farm has more recently added asparagus and raspberries, along with flowers.
Though not totally organic, Krupp Farms says they use ecologically-friendly practices and fertilizes the crops with things like fish, sugar, garlic and compost.
The farm has a petting zoo and ice cream shop, and hosts small groups and field trips.
