Former Pastor to be Sentenced for Peeping

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 26, 2014) — A former pastor and professor at Cornerstone University is scheduled to be sentenced in court for climbing up a ladder and watching a couple have sex.

According to MLive, Jeremy Grinnell pleaded guilty on May 13 to one count of surveilling unclothed persons. The incident happened on Nov. 7 and he was arrested the next day.

At the time of the arrest, Grinnell was a visiting assistant professor of systematic theology at Cornerstone, and was placed on administrative leave. His profile is no longer listed on the faculty page of the university’s website.

Grinnell also had a radio show through Cornerstone on WCSG 91.3, which was pulled. The sentencing comes on the heels of another case against a former WCSG radio DJ, John Balyo, has been accused of child molestation.
