GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 23, 2014) – Longboard riders from across the Midwest were in Grand Rapids on Saturday, taking part in State Games of Michigan Downhill Skateboarding event. The course weaved its way through the campus of GRCC, utilizing the big hill, which had the competitors hitting speeds of more than 40 mph. Wipeouts were common on the two corners lined with hay-bails. Benson Mason from Grand Rapids won a Silver Medal in the pro-division. Click here for the final results.
