EATON COUNTY, Mich. (June 16, 2014) — A 15-year-old was killed during a crash over the weekend in Eaton County.
According to a release from the sheriff’s department, the crash happened Saturday, June 14 on Wheaton Road at Kinsel Highway. The teen was a passenger in a Chrysler Sebring traveling east on Kinsel.
Deputies say the driver of the Sebring failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on Wheaton.
The teen died at the scene. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
