Teenager Stabbed After Fight In Holland

HOLLAND, Mich. (June 14, 2014)- An 18-year-old male is recovering at Holland Community Hospital after being stabbed early Saturday morning.

According to the Holland Police Department, officers responded to a fight in the first block of W. 16th street. When officers arrived on scene they found an 18-year-old man with a stab wound to his back. Two suspects fled on foot before officers were able to get to the scene.

A Holland canine team was called in to track the suspects. The canine team was able to track the suspects to the area of 17th and Pine, but the suspects were not found.

The victim was transported to Holland Community Hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The two suspects were described as black males, between 16-20 years old, and both had curly black hair. One of the two suspects was wearing an aqua colored hat, gray hooded sweatshirt and khaki shorts.The other suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants. Both suspects were last seen running west from the scene.
