GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 12, 2014) — Like beer?  If you are reading this, the answer is probably yes.

Like to make beer?  Then you are part of a growing culture of home brewers in West Michigan.  And they are raising a glass to DeVos Place in Grand Rapids as it hosts the American Homebrewers Association’s Annual National Homebrewers Conference. The 36th annual event is the largest of its kind in the nation.  It will host more than 3,000 people and feature 55 seminars on everything from experimental brews, to turning your hobby into a profession.

Due to high demand, attendance at the event is limited to AHA members. Each member is allowed one guest and registration can be done at the door. The event has not been held in Michigan since 2000, that conference was held in Livonia and drew about 300 attendees.
