Man Shows Up At Hospital After Kalamazoo Shooting

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (June 12, 2014) — A 27-year-old man from Kalamazoo was injured in a shooting late on June 11.

Kalamazoo Public Safety responded to Lay Boulevard and James Street around 11 p.m. for a report of shots fired. They found evidence of a shooting at the scene but could not find a victim. However, a short time later the man showed up at an area hospital with a graze wound to his leg. He was treated and released.

At last check, police do not have a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Kalamazoo Public Safety at 337-8994 or Silent Observer at 343-2100.
