HOLLAND, Mich. (June 4, 2014) — Deanna’s Playhouse, a non-profit activity center for families and children in Holland, is facing foreclosure unless they can gather financial support from the community.
Director Deanna Depree says she is optimistic that the center will be able to reclaim the building by the redemption period that ends June 19.
She said a parent group is also trying to raise money with a private investor for the 15,000 square foot activity center.
“Sometimes you have to think you’re going to lose something before you really come forward to say something,” she said.
Depree said a grant that the center used for funding was discontinued in 2011. If you’d like to make a donation to Deanna’s Playhouse, click here.
