According to Battle Creek Police, the victim was robbed at Union Street and Sherman Road around 11:06 p.m. on June 1. They say three black males punched him and hit him in the head with a pistol, stole his wallet and cell phone, and ran off.

The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. A canine unit responded but couldn’t find the suspects.
