BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (June 2, 2014) — Police are searching for suspects they say robbed a man at gunpoint, and they say the incident fits the description of at least two area robberies that happened in May.
According to Battle Creek Police, the victim was robbed at Union Street and Sherman Road around 11:06 p.m. on June 1. They say three black males punched him and hit him in the head with a pistol, stole his wallet and cell phone, and ran off.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. A canine unit responded but couldn’t find the suspects.
