GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (May 26, 2014) Dozens of people at Chapel Hill Cemetery took time out of their holiday activities to join the Patriot Guard Riders and others in remembering what Memorial Day is all about. They honored the people who’ve fought for our country and are no longer with us. The annual ceremony included an honor guard, music, a message about sacrifice and a motorcycle parade. For the second year in a row, Fox 17’s Christian Frank was invited to read the names of all the West Michigan veterans who’ve died over the last year. Photojournalist Darren Bower has a closer look.
