Mystery Mail: Contact Made with WWII Era Letter’s Rightful Owner

MUSKEGON COUNTY AND FLORIDA (May 23, 2014) – The United State Postal Service has been working to solve a mail mystery after a letter written during World War II surfaced in Muskegon County.

It was sent by a sergeant based in New York to a family who lives in West Michigan.

This week, the post office was able to track down the grandchildren of its rightful owner in Florida.
