CALEDONIA, Mich. (May 14, 2014) — Wayne Anthony Miller, 88, was reported missing Wednesday by the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.
Miller was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. at the Parkview Motel, 429 N. Broadway, in Hastings, according to a release.
Family members tell deputies that he left his Caledonia home in the 200 block of Vine Street at about 2 p.m. and stopped to visit a friend in Allegan County. He was later spotted at the motel in Hastings.
Officials say Miller suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and can easily become confused.
He is described in a release as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 180 pounds with brown eyes and gray, balding hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the picture of the Mackinac Bridge on it and black jeans.
At the time of his disappearance he was driving a red 2014 Toyota Sienna minivan with Michigan handicap plate 6337E6.
