GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (May 6, 2014) — Spectrum Health’s Aero Med resumed operation Tuesday at 4:15 p.m., according to a release.
Aero Med voluntarily grounded helicopters May 1 after discovering they had an incomplete training form required by the Federal Aviation Association.
“This was an oversight in the completion of a required training document and was not an issue of appropriate training,” said Robert Hubers, MD, Aero Med’s Medical and Program Director, in a release.
