BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (May 3, 2014)- A 31-year-old man was arrested after kidnapping his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend, that’s according to Battle Creek Police.
It happened Saturday night on Lamora St. in Battle Creek. Investigators said the suspect forcefully entered the home and kidnapped the victim.
The victim was able to contact her mom about her location without the suspect knowing, according to Battle Creek Police. FOX 17 was told the suspect was then arrested by officers near North Washington Ave.
No injuries were reported.
Police said the suspect was arrested for home invasion and kidnapping. He was taken to the Calhoun County Jail.
