Police Investigate Shooting After Victim Turns Up at Hospital

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 25, 2014) — Police in Grand Rapids are investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning, after a victim was dropped off at the hospital.

Officers were notified at around 4:30 a.m., that an individual who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, had arrived at the hospital.  The victim told police that the shooting happened in the area of Jefferson and Montgomery SE.

As of now, they have found no evidence of a shooting in that area.  The investigation is on-going.
