GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb. 21, 2014) — A bicyclist suffered serious injuries after he was hit by a car early Friday morning, and police are looking for the driver.
The accident happened at 28th Street and Division Avenue at around 12:20 a.m. Police say the 21-year-old man was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver never stopped. The victim suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he was last listed in serious condition. The intersection was shut down while detectives investigated the accident. The intersection has since been reopened.
